Best Compact Glock 40 - I bought a G23 Gen 3 a few months ago and it has been my favorite gun for a long time and I have many. I also got a 9mm conversion barrel for it so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm out of it and it's a perfect carry or toy range gun. If you are considering a G19, I would consider a G23 and a barrel conversion. This gun can be converted to shoot 4 different calibers (comes in 40 s&w, you can get a 9mm or .357 conversion barrel, and you can also get a .22 lr conversion kit for it). Great gun all around! Recommend this firearm.
I prefer the 4th gen grip over the 3rd gen. It's safer by hand. The dimensions of the 23 are perfect for concealed carry, but large enough to absorb recoil and provide longer sight. I also like the idea of a .357 Sig conversion barrel. I don't think you can beat a Glock.

To be honest, I use gloves to destroy. They were big and bulky guns that didn't fit my hand at all. Recently, my wife and I went to the store and she watched as the salesperson put the 4th gen on my hand and it felt like a glove. After a little research, I found out that they modeled the 4th gen after a 1911 grip, which I love 1911s, but I also love how much I can personalize a glock. So the 23rd gen 4 will probably be the last pistol I buy until it is removed.

The first Glock I ever owned and the #1 pistol I built. Fast, smooth and reliable. I have several different semis from different manufacturers and this is the best one I have ever shot. I tried to meet the spring kit and barrel, but even out of the box I get consistent 5 inch groups at 9-12 yards. Thank you.
I bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. I love the gun to this day. I'd like to get a Gen 4 someday, but haven't felt the need for it yet. I would love to get it for my off duty behavior while in law enforcement. Not too big and still has a decent amount of species. Would recommend to anyone looking to carry concealed.

I tried the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love, great gun and felt different. Expected more recall, but it's average for the caliber, it's a great gun. This is not my first Glock, I have a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45, but my G23 feels different.

I love the Glock shop. Lots of video information and great service. I didn't buy a gun here. I am 12 miles from Buds gun shop in Lexington, KY. It was my first and only pistol. I bought it and haven't shot it in over 2 years. I was shy, then retired and got used to my new friend. I changed the spring which made a big difference. This is a glock 23 4th generation. I put a big dot XS look on it. Now that's what I love, I get to the point very quickly. Bam and you are there. I put a blacklist barrel on it and a Johnny glock trigger. I dry fire a lot, it shows when I go to the range. There is a book called Navy Seal Shooting, by Chris Sajnog, . I learned a lot about shooting. Chris Saynog was a seal shooting instructor. Money well spent. you can't go wrong with this Glock 23. It does everything a pistol should do. Now you have to do your part and learn how to use it. Hope this helps CBH
I bought a Glock 31 in Sig 357 caliber with one magazine. I bought 2 more Sig 357 magazines from Gun Broker but the salesman said he couldn't find the magazines so he went out and bought me (2) 40 caliber magazines and I was sure they would work. 357s. gun Then I bought a 40 ACP caliber barrel. So now I had a Sig 357 pistol and 40 ACP with 3 magazines. Then I bought a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9mm magazines, so instead of buying one gun and several attachments, I have 3 different caliber guns. Glock RULES!!!!!! Then I get the 22LR conversion.
I bought a Glock 23 40 cal from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma about 20 years ago! I was not at all impressed with this firearm. This is the best gun I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I have used it while serving in two different police departments. It's a solid firearm and I'm glad I own it! I had a sig P 938 in 9mm the trigger pull was terrible and I wasn't very accurate with it. I also have 2 gs p 238 380 automatic nice gun but not very accurate. The frame was also on the thin side, so after 100 rounds at the range my hand got a little tired. Glock 27 is a good choice 1 st. it's almost the same size as the p 938, so it's very compact. 2nd 40 cal not 9mm, 3rd magazine 9+1 Vs 6+1 4 I can use my 15 round preloaded magazine at home without spending time reloading the scope. Best of all, this gun is so accurate at 7 yards that I can shoot 15 rounds in a 3 inch circle without hand fatigue after 100 rounds. I bought a Glock G 27 Gen 3.
Lightweight, easy to hide. Recommend the extended mag for you as my ring finger gets tired after the fourth round of the magazine. Gen 4 w/+4 handle might make it less tiring, so that's my next investment.
Best Handguns For Concealed Carry
Being a retired LEO, I own several guns (most of them Glocks). This is my favorite weapon. The .40 caliber gets the job done and the pistol fires without missing a beat. I passed SMJ and Hallow points with no problems. At the range, this little gun outgunned my more expensive Kimber 1911 .45. What I mean by this is that my Kimber has a real problem with feed jam. The hand safety is very close to the hand grip and accidentally brushing your thumb against it will cause the safety to come off accidentally. These problems lead to failure when shooting live rapid fire sequences. Whereas my Glock 27 has never jammed or malfunctioned in a live fire situation. I can keep shooting while someone else is busy solving their problems with other guns. I trust this gun with my life! This cannot be said about many other weapons!

I purchased a GLOCK 27 for off-duty concealed carry. As it is a small firearm that packs a 40 cal shot, you will definitely feel the trip. With practice and repetition, recovery can be managed. I mounted a small SIG Romeo RDS on my G27 and it was much easier for me to get back on target after each shot. Based on my experience with this gun, I recommend this setup if you have issues with recoil control (aiming due to recoil). For me, this gun is fine for close combat (self defense situation) with direct point and shoot, but if there is some distance between me and the target , the red dot really helps to get the target in the situation. stress. . Deer law in my state. Yes? Glock 23 is for deer in my state. A .40 S&W fired from a minimum 4 inch barrel is considered deer medicine where I live. Add in the ability to shoot a .40 from a carbine, and every extra pound of energy you get from that longer barrel adds to the joy.

Why do you mention that you can leave a deer with a .40 S&W around these parts? Because it is a powerful species in itself. The peak of its use in law enforcement may have been a few years ago, but it doesn't add much to the pumpkin.
